Wolf Scholars is a transformative scholarship program designed to develop Canada's next generation of thoughtful builders, innovators, and leaders.
Each year, 16 exceptional incoming undergraduates across the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science will form a tight-knit cohort. Over four years, Scholars will engage in an enrichment program designed to sharpen their critical thinking skills, foster their intellectual curiosity across disciplines, and prepare them to tackle the challenges facing their generation.
Beyond funded travel and leadership development experiences, Scholars will receive a full tuition scholarship and a meaningful living stipend.
Wolf Scholars is a launchpad inspired by renowned liberal arts programs worldwide. We're building a future where your curiosity, character and ambition - not only your degree - enables you to drive impact across sectors.

The Wolf Scholars Program proudly introduces its inaugural class, a diverse group of exceptional young Canadians poised to shape the future. Selected from an applicant pool of over 1000, Scholars will embark on a journey that will further develop their leadership potential.
In a world influenced by technology, our humanity is more important than ever. A broad education is the best kind of education. With it, you develop a life-long toolkit to analyze problems critically, adapt to change, be creative, and communicate effectively and with empathy.

Wolf Scholars will access an internship partner network like no other. Leading organizations across Canada - from business to politics, tech to not-for-profit - will engage with Scholars and provide mentorship and internship opportunities where there is a strong fit. Scholars will gain practical experience and professional skills no matter their degree. Below is a list of just a few of our partners across sectors.

We believe our future leaders will need multidisciplinary insight to address the critical global challenges we all face. Bringing together Wolf Scholars from all corners of the university will spark creativity and form communities essential to solving complex problems, all grounded in a deep understanding of history, ethics, and leadership.

We set out to build a program where talented young Canadians who are curious about the world can also have the confidence that they can launch their careers in almost any field following graduation. We are committed to providing the experiences and training to make that happen.

I grew up in a small town, and was always interested in the wider world. At U of T, I studied English, History, Political Science and Economics. Throughout my life, I've relied on my broad undergraduate education and the guidance of many amazing mentors. I'm looking forward to supporting Wolf Scholars on their own journeys through this exciting program and beyond.
